Set Description: The 2000 Topps Stars product was released in July, 2000 and featured a 200-card base set. The base set was broken into tiers as follows: 135 Base Veterans (1-135), 15 Rookies (136-150), 50 Spotlights (151-200). Each pack contained six cards and carried a suggested retail price of $3.00. Notable Rookie Cards include Jose Ortiz (his first licensed Rookie Card on the market), Rick Asadoorian and Bobby Bradley.
