This 50-card NFL quarterback set was produced by Upper Deck and sponsored by Domino's Pizza in conjunction with Coca-Cola and NFL Properties. These standard-size cards were part of a national promotion that was kicked off during the August 3, 1991, "NBC Sportsworld" telecast of "NFL Quarterback Challenge". The cards were distributed through the 5,000 Domino's restaurants across the country. During August, or while supplies lasted, customers who ordered the Domino's Pizza NFL Kick-off Deal received two medium cheese pizzas, four cans of Coke, Diet Coke, or Coke Classic, and one free foil pack with four NFL Quarterback cards, all for 9.99. The first 32 cards in the set were active quarterbacks arranged in alphabetical order by teams. Cards 33-46 feature retired quarterbacks in alphabetical order by player name and cards 47-49 depict quarterback duos from the same team but different eras.
