Set Description: Released in July of 2003, this set consists of 165 cards, including 100 veterans, 30 rookies, and 35 Hometown Heroes subset cards. The rookies are serial numbered to 1250. The Hometown Heroes cards are only available in Home Team Edition boxes. Boxes featured 24 packs of 5 cards, with an SRP of $3.99. In addition to hobby boxes, Fleer also produced Home Team Edition boxes for the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, and Pittsburgh Steelers. Each Home Team Editon box contained one special pack with a Hometown Heroes memorabilia card, along with three Hometown Heroes subset cards.
