Set Description: Released as a 200-card set, 2001 Donruss Elite is comprised of 100 base cards, 100 rookie cards which are sequentially numbered to 500 with the first 50 of each autographed. Please note that some of the Rookie Cards were short printed and some were issued as redemption cards to be mailed in. Base cards are printed on foil board with team color highlights foil highlights. Elite was packaged in 18-pack boxes containing five cards each and carried a suggested retail price of $3.99.
