Set Description: Replacing the Thunder brand, this was the premiere year for the APEX brand. The set contained 163 cards, featuring 150 veterans and 13 rookies. The cards came eight to a pack with a suggested retail price of $2.69. The rookie cards were inserted at one in 13 packs. Two checklists were also included and inserted at one in six. 50 serial numbered cards were also included that could be redeemed for a Keith Van Horn autographed jersey.
