Set Description: This glossy insert set was included one per wax pack with the regular issue 1988 Topps football cards. The set typically features, in order of yards gained, all players achieving 1000 yards gained either rushing or receiving. However, this year, due to the players' strike which shortened the 1987 season, Topps projected 1,000 yard seasons for those players selected as noted in the checklist below. Cards have a green inner border on the front; backs are red and black print on white card stock. The cards are standard size. Card backs detail statistically the game by game performance of the player in terms of yards gained against each opponent.
