Set Description:
The 1988-89 Topps hockey set contains 198 standard size cards. There are 66 double printed cards that are indicated by DP in the checklist below. The fronts feature colored borders and each player's team logo. The backs contain yearly statistics, playoff statistics, game winning goals from 1987-88 and highlights. Wayne Gretzky (120) appears as a King for the first time. The press conference photo has Gretzky holding his new Kings jersey. Be careful of counterfeit Brett Hull RCs.
