Set Description: Released as a 300-card set, 2001 Ultra is composed of 250 veteran cards and 60 rookie cards which are serial numbered to 2499. Base cards contain full-color action photography and rainbow holofoil stamping. Ultra was packaged in 24-pack boxes with packs that contained 10 cards and carried a suggested retail price of $2.99. Cards numbered U301 through U310 were issued later in the season and featured players who had an impact during the 2001 season.
