Set Description: 2001-02 Topps was released in August as a 360-card set with cards #330-360 in packs as redemption cards for "to-be-determined" rookies. The list of rookies redeemable for these cards was not made public until November. Pack SRP was $1.49 for a 10-card pack and there were 36 packs per box. Cards carrying a "U" prefix were available in packs of Topps Chrome at 1:4. These cards were inserted as updates for players who had changed teams since the release of the base set. The "U" was added for checklisting purposes only, it was not printed on the cards.
