Set Description: Released in late April 2007, Triple Threads is Topps' premium 2006-07 basketball product. With a 130-card set, Triple Threads pictures veteran players on cards 1-86, rookie players on cards 87-90 and retired players on cards 91-100 which are serially numbered to 899. Cards 1-100 share the same design which utilizes a white background with a centered grey-ish/blue oval framing a full-color player action photo. Card numbers 101-130 showcase a horizontal design which places a framed autograph sticker between two premium swatches of jersey. 101-130 are rookie cards and are sequentially numbered to 99. Triple Threads is packaged in two-pack boxes of six cards each and carried an initial suggested retail price of $100.00 per pack. Each pack contains three base cards, two parallels and one triple memorabilia card. In each box, one of the two packs contains a triple memorabilia autographs card.
