Set Description: Made for Topps by Panini, an Italian company, these 262 stickers measure 1 15/16" by 2 9/16" and are numbered on both front and back. The set was the first of the Topps/O-Pee-Chee/Panini genre of sticker sets. The fronts feature white-bordered color player action shots. The backs carry the player's name and position. Team affiliations are not shown. An album onto which the stickers could be affixed was available at retail stores. The first 32 stickers depict 1980 major league pitching and batting leaders. Stickers 33-240 are arranged by teams as follows: Baltimore Orioles (33-40), Boston Red Sox (41-48), California Angels (49-56), Chicago White Sox (57-64), Cleveland Indians (65-72), Detroit Tigers (73-80), Kansas City Royals (81-88), Milwaukee Brewers (91-98), Minnesota Twins (99-106), New York Yankees (107-114), Oakland A's (115-122), Seattle Mariners (123-130), Texas Rangers (130-136), Toronto Blue Jays (137-143), Atlanta Braves (144-150), Chicago Cubs (151-158), Cincinnati Reds (159-166), Houston Astros (167-174), Los Angeles Dodgers (175-182), Montreal Expos (183-190), New York Mets (191-198), Philadelphia Phillies (199-208), Pittsburgh Pirates (209-216), St. Louis Cardinals (217-224), San Diego Padres (225-232) and San Francisco Giants (233-240).
