Made for Topps by Panini, an Italian company, these 262 stickers measure 1 15/16" by 2 9/16" and are numbered on both front and back. The set was the first of the Topps/O-Pee-Chee/Panini genre of sticker sets. The fronts feature white-bordered color player action shots. The backs carry the player's name and position. Team affiliations are not shown. An album onto which the stickers could be affixed was available at retail stores. The first 32 stickers depict 1980 major league pitching and batting leaders.
