Set Description: Topps issued all three series of football cards in a gold version. In addition, all checklist cards were replaced by new player cards as listed below. The cards are standard size and are distinguished from the regular cards by the gold embossing of the player's name and team on the card front. The gold versions are valued approximately four to ten times the regular card values. The gold cards were issued in several ways: one per wax pack, three per rack pack, 20 per 660-card factory set, and ten per 99-card high-number factory set.
