Set Description: The TCMA Stars of the 50's set contains 291 standard-size cards featuring the players of the 50's. The set features a good mix of superstars and not so important players of the era. This set was TCMA's attempt at issuing cards after Topps successfully enjoined them from issuing current players. Using the style which was typical of most of the TCMA issues, the fronts are clear with an informative biography on the back. The Hutchinson and Wertz cards were also issued with the word "SAMPLE" stamped on the back.
