Set Description: The first 49 cards in this set measure 2 3/4" by 4" and feature black-and-white player photos with white borders. The final five cards are 4" by 5 1/2" and feature photos of Yankees from 1936-39. The player's name and position are printed in blue below the picture. The phrase "1936-1939 Yankee Dynasty" is at the top except for card numbers 50-53, which have "World Champions -- 19XX" printed at the top. The backs carry statistics printed in blue. The cards are unnumbered and checklisted below in alphabetical order. This set can be distinguished from the 1983 reprint by two major characteristics: The first one is the printing of these cards in blue and the second one is that neither Joe Gallagher or Lee Stine is in the 1975 set.
