Set Description: This 279-card set was released in January, 2006. The set was issued in the hobby in five-card packs which came 24 packs to a box. The first 96 cards in the set feature veterans sequenced in team alphabetical order while cards numbered 97-100 feature two rookie teammate checklists and cards 101-279 all feature rookies. In the rookie subset, cards numbered 251-279 all have a player-worn relic piece attached. Cards numbered 101-200 were issued to a stated print run of 999 serial numbered sets while cards numbered 201-250 were issued to a stated print run of 599 serial numbered sets and cards numbered 251-279 were issued to a stated print run of 299 serial numbered sets.
