Set Description: These attractive cards parallel the basic 2001 Topps set. The product was distributed exclusively in factory set format. Each set contained the 790-card basic set plus five Topps Archives Reserve Future Rookie Reprints chrome inserts wrapped together in a plastic cello pack. The sets were distributed through hobby dealers in attractive wood boxes and carried a suggested retail price of $173. Each Topps Limited card was printed on 20 pt. stock paper featuring glossy fronts and backs and a "Limited Edition" gold foil logo on front. Though the cards lack individual serial-numbering, Topps announced production at 3,805 sets. Each set states that total on the bottom of the wooden box.
