Set Description: Released in late December 2000, Leaf Rookies and Stars features a 300-card base set divided up into 100 veteran cards, 160 rookies sequentially numbered to 1000, and 40 NFL Europe Prospects sequentially numbered to 3000. Base cards showcase full color player action shots with a border along the left side and bottom of the card. Rookie cards have the word "Rookie" along the left card border, and the words "NFLE Prospects" appear along the left edge of the NFL Europe Prospect cards. In addition, several rookies and all of the NFL Europe Prospects autographed the first 200 serial numbered sets out of the stated print run which are broken out into a separate listing. Leaf Rookies and Stars was packaged five cards per pack and carried a suggested retail price of $2.99.
