This 33-card standard-size set was produced by Donruss for distribution by McDonald's Restaurants throughout Canada. For 39 cents with the purchase of any sandwich or breakfast entree, the collector received a four-card pack featuring three cards from the MVP series and one card from the Blue Jays Gold series. A player from each MLB team is represented in the numbered 26-card MVP subset. Checklist cards were also randomly inserted throughout the foil packs. In addition, 1,000 packs included a randomly inserted prize card. By filling it out, answering the question and sending it to the address on the card, the winner received one of 1,000 numbered cards autographed by Roberto Alomar. The cards have the same design as the regular issue cards, with color action photos bordered in white and accented by blue stripes above and below the picture. One difference is an MVP logo with the McDonald's "Golden Arches" trademark on the front. The backs present a head shot, biography, recent major league performance statistics, career highlights and the card number ("X of 26"). Again, the McDonald's "Golden Arches" trademark appears on the back alongside the other logos. One card from the six-card gold subset (of Toronto Blue Jays) was included in each 1992 Donruss McDonald's MVP four-card foil pack. The gold card fronts feature full-bleed color player photos accented by goil foil stamping. The gold cards are listed below with a "G" prefix below for reference& although a "G" prefix does not appear anywhere on the cards. The player's name appears in a dark blue bar that overlays the bottom gold foil border stripe. In a horizontal format, the backs carry biography, contract status information, recent major league performance statistics and career highlights. As with the MVP series, the McDonald's "Golden Arches" trademark adorns both sides of the card.
